CORONATION STREET’S KATHERINE KELLY: HOW SHE CAME TO WEAR THAT HAT….

Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

Thought you might like to see a few pictures of the lovely Kate when she came to the H’atelier showroom for her first consultation, with her stylist and make-up supremo, the utterly fabulous CHRISTOPHER RAINE , who was responsible for Kate’s spectacular appearance at the Royal Wedding. Kate was charmingly enthusiastic and had a great time trying on lots of hats

KK being advised by milliner Jen Scott-Russell

(Me in concentrated- and probably bossy- mode….)

KK steals the show without even trying

(I find Kate’s expression in this one somewhat intimidating………….!)

Kate managed effortlessly to add a certain je-ne-sais-quoi  to every hat she tried

And the final result :

Just beautiful!

“As you can see, your hat totally ‘made’ my outfit and I felt like a star wearing it.  Thank you very much for helping to make my day.”

And did you notice the hat co-ordinates not only with Jane’s outfit but with the medal AND the palace carpet too ? There’s serendipity for you!

It gives me a huge kick when clients let me have photographs of themselves in their complete outfits, and/or send their kind comments, so here are just a few examples for you to see for yourselves

“Thought you would be amused to see your ‘creation’ has been on its travels! Went to a fabulous wedding of some French friends of ours. I had by far the most glamorous hat type thing – head and shoulders (ha ha) above its French aristocratic rivals! It was much admired. So you see, your talents are appreciated far and wide!”
