LOVEHEART HAT TURNS HEADS….

The international response to this hat (specially commissioned by Swizzels Matlow) has been most gratifying, and a lovely reward for the challenge involved in making it!

The hat has been pictured in the Independent, the Telegraph, the Huffington Post, the Irish Times, Walesonline, Marie-Claire magazine, the Sun , weheartstyle.com, among others

This is, admittedly, something of a novelty hat, and we’re so pleased that several Royal Enclosure guests chose us to create hats for them. Photos of clients wearing the hats will follow, but in the meantime here’s a taster:

Here’s the way we’re thinking for the months ahead (and yes, it will get warmer…)

We’re working on “Pale and Interesting“, “Jungle Book“, “Neon City” and “Bloomin’ Flowers“. This is, of course, just a starting point and we may well end up with something completely different…..

Thought you might like to see a few pictures of the lovely Kate when she came to the H’atelier showroom for her first consultation, with her stylist and make-up supremo, the utterly fabulous CHRISTOPHER RAINE , who was responsible for Kate’s spectacular appearance at the Royal Wedding. Kate was charmingly enthusiastic and had a great time trying on lots of hats

(Me in concentrated- and probably bossy- mode….)

(I find Kate’s expression in this one somewhat intimidating………….!)

Kate managed effortlessly to add a certain je-ne-sais-quoi to every hat she tried
