I'm very proud to say that one of my hats — "Impressionista" — was selected by the prestigious Atelier-Musee du Chapeau in Chazelle-sur-Lyon, France, for their 7th International Hats' Art Exhibition, 27th May - 30th September 2007, sponsored by Hermes. Entry is competitive and open to all milliners worldwide.
Hats for chaps
I'm often asked if we make men's hats, and while we don't at the moment it is something I intend to add to the range as soon as possible. Sorry, boys, you'll have to wait, but I promise it will be worth it. Watch this space……
Hat hire
Another frequent enquiry. For the time being H'atelier hats can only be hired out to the fashion trade (stylists, photographers, fashion designers etc.) but as soon as there's sufficient stock then yes, we'll do it. With pleasure.
Courses
Another development in the pipeline, and something we'd really love to do. I'm thinking of short one-day courses e.g. "Make Your Own *Headpiece", and probably intensive 2 day weekend courses for a real taste of millinery proper, providing the opportunity to work with traditional equipment & materials to produce a fabulously unique hat. If you'd like to be kept informed, or have any suggestions, please let us know.
